LISTING A GAME

For existing teams who are looking to list an available spot in their team for their upcoming game!

When can my team list an available spot?

Teams may list a single-game spot starting 7 days before the scheduled game time, up until 8 hours before the game begins. Listings stay active until 4 hours prior to kickoff.

Does it cost money to list an available spot?

Not at all! Listing a spot in your team is completely free. Players pay the game fee through the mobile app—there’s no financial exchange between teams and players.

What happens when a player books a spot?

You'll be notified instantly when a player books the spot. The player will receive your team’s game details—just watch out for your fill-in teammate!

Can I cancel our game listing if we end up finding players?

No worries! Use the cancellation link in your game-booking email to remove your listing.

What happens if a player isn't found for our listing?

If the spot isn’t booked within 4 hours of game time, the listing goes offline and we’ll notify you. We do our best to match players promptly!

SINGLE GAMES

For individuals who are looking to play once-off, single games of sport!

How much does a single game cost?

The cost varies, game to game, but you can typically expect games to cost between $7-$14.

Do I play the team directly for the game?

Nope! All payments go through our secure mobile app, so there’s zero direct exchange between players and teams.

Can I be notified of available games when they go live?

Absolutely! Head to www.socialsport.com.au/gamepass, enter your email, and tailor your notifications by sport and venue. You’ll be the first to know when new opportunities go live.

Is there a limit to the amount of games I can book?

No! You're able to book as many single games as you'd like! Just get in quick, as many of our games get snapped up pronto!

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

What is the cancellation policy for teams when listing games?

Teams can cancel their listing at any time before it’s booked. However, once a player has secured the spot through GamePass, the team is obliged to honour that booking—even if they later find their own fill-in players.

What is the cancellation & refund policy for players?

Players can cancel a single-game booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time and receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are not refundable, as teams rely on confirmed players to field a side and avoid last-minute disruptions.
